I can't Buy Lighthouse Cove because have only 34 Fv cash.... This is so sad that can't get more cash as i m at level 252 :( Please do something for players like me
I'm really ticked off that this is only for those who have farm cash, which Zinga is extremely stingy with. I have 13 million in coin but this does me no good as they don't offer any desirable items for coin. Farmville isn't as much fun as it use to be when you could buy good things with coin and the farm cash items weren't so ridiculously priced as well.
Zynga should be clear and state that Cove is only for advanced players or...rather... it is on payment. And we could decide not to support with gifts the luckiest selected group a enabled to play.....
You can become a VIP Farmer and be allowed to enter Lighthouse Cove now for 55FC, what a joke or you can wait until the official release date which is Sept 19th (next Mon). A neighbor of mine paid the fee and she told us that there is a limited area that you can plant crops and that most everything including ALL expansions cost you FC. They are ruining the fun of FV with charging so much to even be able to get ahead now in the game. They need to give us a currency converter where we can take the millions of coins that we have and convert them into FC rather than being stuck with most of them and not being able to do anything with them. I'm not going into debt or going with out the necessities in life just to play some virtual game and buy things that I can never physically use, touch, hold, etc.
well it is all ridiculous due to everything being farm cash would love to expand my other farms, i know how everyone feels i am level 101 and have 13 million saved up and it was a waste of time buying turbo which i did and it was 60 farmbucks which i could of used for some thing better

I saw it also that the Lighthouse Cove will be available September 19,2011.I am waiting for then because I do not have the 55 farm cash. The 19th is next Monday so that is not that far away.
the official release date is the 19th BUT you can get there early by paying the 55 fv dollars and get a headstart on everyone plus you get an animal for paying the 55
This really just turns me off from the game. i didn't want the darn cove anyways, now i watch a "select" few of my neighbors playing it? Isn't real life bad enough when you don't have the money for things you need or want? I liked playing Farmville in the beginning. Now it's all about FVcash.
I agree we should be able to use our coins for this quest not everyone can get farmville cash to buy things. Please reconsider. I like playin Farmville and English Countryside and I know I would love Lighthouse Cove. So please reconsider and let us use coins to purchase. Thank you.

14 million unemployed people in the US alone, and I'm one of them and Zynga expects us to pay real life money on EACH of their games for stuff. How many Zynga games do we play? Personally I play about 3-5 steady, and take stabs at others when I get to them. Total maybe 9 games, plus iPhone games.
I can't afford to play with FC and I have 35 million in coins sitting on my farm. I get a bucks worth now and then of FC but that's about it, for trees.
I just see a whole lot of complainers on here. It's easy wait till the 19th, or pay the low low amount of $10 (a few hamburgers) you may be healthier and have a better attitude if you spend your money on The Cove instead of junk food

Why is everyone complaining? It's the folks that are willing to pay money for cash that makes us playing for free possible.
So those who chose to go in early got maybe a week to take a peek at everything? Big deal. I don't play to "beat everyone else and be first". I play because I like the game itself and enjoy decorating my farm, etc.
I haven't invested in the game, and I don't think I will right now. I pay for other games that I enjoy. I know the companies have to make money some how or they can't continue to provide free games if no one buys into the game at all. You don't expect to work where you do and not get paid. Their company shouldn't, either.
I appreciate that there are folks out there willing to spend the money and it allows folks like me, who may not spend the money and yet I can still play the game for free.
So there are some items that you can only get if you pay for FarmVille cash or if you happen to have enough via the freebies they hand out at every level. It's a choice to pay for the freebie or not. Some will and some won't. I would really love a steak from a steakhouse right now but I'm not going to blame Ruth Chris' steak house for charging money that I don't feel like spending right now.
If you expect to be paid for your job, don't expect FarmVille to provide the game items completely free. It isn't a free game. It costs the company money to run it, employ their people, the bandwidth, etc. Appreciate that you are able to enjoy it at the expense of other people paying into the game.
Has anyone wrote to ZYNGA? There is power in numbers. I wrote and wrote and today $50.00 in FC was sitting there. I do believe if enough of you wrote that ZYNGA would soon figure out that it needs to back off of at least the land upgrades costing real money. It doesnt matter if you are new to the game or a season vet. No one should have to pay almost 200.00 to upgrade land in this game. Enough people buy the trees animals and decorations to keep Zynga employees paid. The reason Zynga has all of the players it has is because in the beginning when I started playing you earned coins gained land farmed and gained more land and spent real cash along the way for all the pretty's, special trees and special animals, it made them millions so please dont use they need to pay their employees etc. as a reason it is typical greed plain and simple. Write letters to Zynga because without players they are just another broke company!
