ReplyDeleteHow about more time between each quest? It would be nice to grow other items. I think we're all getting tired of wheat, peppermint, soybean, and spinach. There are a whole lot of other things we can grow besides the same ole boring crops.

ReplyDeletezygna is getting rediculious.... they can not be reached anymore to help with their mess ups by rolling out things that are not debugged and ready for players, they dont reimburse you for the fv money you have to use to finish the tasks that their developers caused by the program not being right, they put out too many tasks at once and then still dont get it right.... i used to love farmville but now i am getting a little tired of it....

soy bean is vegetable, if u harvest then it will follow to harvest 50 and then next is flower :P if u still do the late quest fairy n cove it also count to be harvest flower.
I love the quests. Withou them there would be nothing to do. They are challenging and engaging. It doesnt take much time - just a few minutes everyday and they can easily be finished. If you're complaining - you're not having fun, and therefore you shouldn't be playing... Move on. Let's have some positive fun!! :)
ReplyDeletei live in an area where the net is not always on- then its is slower than a week of wet sundays- takes hours to harvest and re-plant, once a day is enough but with all the quests and 3 farms its never ending battle to keep up- a little more time and spacing would be nice
ReplyDeleteThis is ridiculous! We only have so much time to harvest these crops and the amount you want us to grow takes up all the room on our farms. It leaves us no room to grow what we need in oreder to make the things in our shops. Although we can use the wheat, and flowers, not much to make with the spinach. A waste of time!! And the possum, shouldn't it be "striped" and NOT stripped?? Not exactly sure what a stripped possum is? We need more time between quests. Farming is no longer fun. It has turned into a full time job and if we don't "buy" the farm cash, they are too difficult to complete in the time frame you give us. Very FRUSTRATING!!

ReplyDeletei also think that these quests are fun and challenging but at the same time you cant upgrade your land to grow what your asking for not everyone has farm cash and some of the rewards are just lame for the work you do! or pay for farm cash to get it done. fv is not fun anymore its a full time job and i know allot of people high up on levels talking about quitting the game! not good for all you at zynga. i think if you are too greedy you will loose more then you expect too

ReplyDeletei agree with the challenging and fun but i think you are asking us to harvest to much and we can't keep up and not all us can complete the tasks. and the farms can only hold so much. i have a lot in storage cause i dont have room on my farms. and i dont play like i used to cause it ends up making me mad. zynga greed is the root to all evil. read your Bible you get to greedy and you will lose it all. money dont buy happiness. And you can't buy God's love.

What I get tired of is constantly needing to build and expand and ask for items. It is also frustrating that I can't share with neighbors because my farm won't publish posts.

ReplyDeleteFYI.................you can upgrade your cove with coins now and have been able to for weeks. when everyone complained about having to buy expansions, Zynga listened. I've upgraded mine 3 times and now the quests are easy and very attainable. try it, you'll see.
ReplyDeleteThe missions are aimed at the people who have a higher level than others....i am lvl 120, and complete all missions with time to spare. If your level and farm income isnt high enough, just do your best. Eventually you will have what it takes to keep up. If they catered all of the missions to be easy for everyone, it would be very boring for those of us who have played since the beginning, have invested a lot of time and effort into growing their farms(not one cent on farm cash tho, thank you!)and have done our best to keep adding friends who play farmville. If you keep at it, someday you wont suck and can keep up with the rest of us. As for those of you complaining about your crappy internet service, that is definitely Zyngas problem, and we all want to hear about poor you, way out in the country, with a beautiful backyard, woods, animals, and want to sit on the computer...go play your real farmville!
ReplyDeleteI don't really why people complain about the quests so much. I am level 79 and do not have an issue with getting my quests done (aside from the light house cove, yet I don't complain about them I just go about what ever else I wanna do) You do not have to do the quests its a choice (people asking for more coin items because they cant buy FVC well that's where the quests come in ;) you get some nice items some times that you would have to use FVC to get. This site is also helpful!! Shows you what you need to plant and how much so you can get a jump on things I use both my home and English farm to plant and harvest for quests and I make sure before planting on my home farm what I am thinkin about planting on my English farm is available to plant there ;)AND for people saying how Zynga does not do anything about this that or the other and you can't get a hold of them, I called Zyngas billing and said 1 sorry for calling billing but I did not get an email back they went over my issues FIXED THEM and on top of that game me a little FVC for the hassle they also fixed the Fairy Zebra so we can get all 12 quests done be thankful 1 we are able to do quests for free items 2 they care about what we think (on a free game_ and do their best to meet us 1/2 way its more than a lot of other games do believe that try and be happy and enjoy things for once it sure beats being pissy or upset

ReplyDeleteI don't have a problem with the quest at all if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to get all the neat trees,animals, and decorations. What I do have a problem with is that I think the time limit should be a little bit longer and my farm won't load half the time for me to be able to harvest the crops that I need to harvest for the quests and get the other things that I need for them......

ReplyDeleteMy biggest complaint with the quests, is the harvesting of the special animals that take anywhere between 2-4 days to be ready to harvest. Then of course the fact that we are over-loaded with quests too. It is taking the fun out of the game. Same goes with Frontierville.
ReplyDeletejust found this site. I have been complaining about many of the issues mentioned. I now know I am not alone in this mess. The game play problems are more an issue than the time frame. I get thrown out and have to re-enter several times a time. always get error find another game several times a day. I just want them to fix the game, work out the bugs and let us play. I am semi-house bound and it fills a lot of time for me. I have met a lot of good friends through the game.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes the big draw back is the animals that take to long to harvest to let you meet all quest. so lets just hang in there and see if they get it to work the way it is supposed to.
Even with a few problems (i.e. have to ask twice for items before it posts) I have been able to complete most of the quests. The exception is Lighthouse Cove but remember that they have bonus rounds there for those that want to do them. I just go as far as I can and don't worry if I do not complete them. I did use some FVC that I got quite a while back...wish they would do that 7-11 thing again, but have never paid for any, that I used to speed up harvesting of animals but even without that I would have finished. The trick is to go here, find out what is coming and ask for it. Also, use your Home Farm and English Farm for growing crops. That makes the crop requirements easy to do. If you want to do other things such as crafting then either make sure you have a large enough farm or pick and choose. No one is being forced to craft or undertake these quests.
ReplyDeletei put my possum straight in my wildlife sanctuary and i hadnt havested it yet so when i did it was harvested instantly it took five mins thats all by doing it that way, but i think it takes a day otherwise. i agree with lots of the comments more stuff for coins as the cash is so expensive, or make it/or the items cheaper either way. my english farm has almost 600 plots ploughed on it and not much else i use that if possable for the quests. and my farm has had problems for 6 weeks not posting and not being able to load the pages to ask for help - to be honest ive emailed zynga through the support option at the bottom and explained nicely and every time they have given me all the items needed for completing the quests and ive had nearly 500 farm cash off them for inconvenience over the last 6 weeks. so i cant complain too much - although i am finding that too many quests too often is geting tedious - we only used to have them once every few weeks which was fine - same as the new items used to be cheaper and not so often so we could afford them as a lot more used to be for coins.and im on level 140+ and still enjoy the game - although a little tedious and annoying at times - the glitches are the biggest problem, too many quests and cost of items is the second biggest problem - if they sorted all these out - WE WOULD ALL BE CONSTANTLY HAPPY CHAPPIES :-)))))
ReplyDeleteThe animals will be ready a lot quicker if you put them in the pens where they are meant to be anyway. You won't have to wait 3 days. Most quest give you at least 4 days to complete and if that is not enough time I have to pity you. You must be doing something really stupid. Go to the farmville Masters site and you will see what you have to do on each quests and you can get a jump on things. Just don't harvest things before time to do the quest and plant when you are almost finished with the previous quest. Stop bitching and stop doing the quests if you have nothing better to do. No one is making you do the quests. You get lots of GREAT gifts just for doing the quests and plenty of time to finish. My only problem is not being able to give or receive gifts. But as soon as I tell them they will fix my farm. So do that and if you think zynga reads this page you really are in la la land.. they have much more to do that read all the bitching going on here. Either play and enjoy or quit and shut the hell up. Oh and you are not the best fv player, I am. I have been playing since day one and have only spent cash on the horses, but have everything I want and need to win fv farm of the week three times now.. Ha ha
ReplyDeleteI have had no game feed (below the farms) since Sept 3. Without that it's impossible to complete these quests. For 3 weeks I can't post to ask for help. I never see the send screen. Leveling up is no problem. At level 169, the quests are just annoying. I level up every 2 to 5 days. AND I DON'T SPEND ANY REAL MONEY AT ALL, like some of you do. I just don't have it. I always have enough resources to level up 5 levels in 10 minute period, but I don't, I take my time. If I could post and have the game feed the quest would be a breeze. There is nothing on any of my farms that doesn't bring in coins or xp. No mansions, fancy decorations, fences, not of that. I sold everything even the hundreds of mastery signs. I didn't buy that stupid book, which is a whole other story. Those who want fancy farms and are not interested with leveling up, that's cool - what ever floats your boat. Farm on.

We love FarmVille, but it is getting ridiculous when you give us quests, but our requests don't post, when we have to use our precious fv cash to expedite the growing of these animals. I finally used the 3 fv cash I had so that I could harvest the "stripped" possum (which was ridiculous in itself; hire someone that can spell) AND the fairy zebra. Now I need 6 banjos, and I have refreshed my page about 10 times, nothing is posting. It is such a tight schedule that we have in order to complete these quests, and your game is turning into crap. When I expand my hoedown harvest, I go out of sync every TIME. It is really getting old. I cannot reach anyone from your company, which shows me that you guys don't care about the clientele that play your games. I am extremely disappointed in the way Zynga is handling this: Not acknowledging a problem, does NOT mean one doesn't exist. Sincerely, a disgusted player

ReplyDeleteenjoy the challenges but they do need to shorten the time for these animals to harvest so far 3 days for the zebra and the other animals as well, in regards to the cove challenges you can not even finish them exspecially when it comes to making wine and pies by the time you grow it, it's too late not everyone has neighbor's that you can buy from that has all of the ingredents

OK people quit complaining I did all the quest have about an hour and the Cove quest will be done and i did not pay farmcash to finish you just have to time the crops with the animal harvest so they can be done at the same time. If you dont like them dont do them :)

ReplyDeleteYes, I have a problem posting requests also. What I find really poorly thought out is having 2 and 3 quests at the same time between the 3 farms each requiring more crops than there is room for plots, unless you want to remove all your pens, but of course you have to harvest the pens for the quest. Hey you could get rid of your craft shop since you cannot craft anything to level crafting because the quests ask for you to craft goodies in the restaurant, and you have to get rid of your crafting bushels to make room for the bushels for the quests since they don't give you very much storage for your bushels. Maybe the tavern or your profession...you can't do anything in them anyway. Get rid of your decorations and make more room for plots .... oh but I forgot your got to have FV Cash to add plots.
ReplyDeleteSpeaker tree is taking along time to harvest. It DIDN'T say to put in orchard so what are u suppose to do cause u think should be out so u can see it by the barn. They would say leave it out or not and that animal had it out not in the pen cause it didn't say because some say people say no and then now read this. If that was the class would have put that tree in the orchard now have to wait for 2 days just up to 80's % and took 1 tree out of one but that is in the 50%. Let us know put the things in the pen or not, some are ahead of me now because I didn't pu the Speaker tree in orchard. I planted the peppermint thinking should have been ready to harvest.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy these however, I am frustrated with the fact you are now wanting us to harvest trees and animals that take 2 days. The zebra, the possum and the speaker tree. To keep me interested in doing these you need to not make the harvest time so long. The then you want to say only so many day left. We should be able to play until complete or skip to the next. The next part I need to harvest the possum twice which will take 4 days. I quit on this one!

IT IS A 'FREE' GAME AND YOU EXPECT WAY WAY TO MUCH TO BE GIVEN TO YOU... WE WOULD ALL BE BETTER OFF IF YOU WOULD QUIT THEN WE WOULD NOT HAVE THE PROBLEMS WE ARE HAVING. IT IS BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT WE ARE HAVING THE PROBLEMS. ZYNGA WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE IT HARD AS LONG AS THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE YOU ON HERE. SO PLEASE DO US GOOD PLAYERS A FAVOR AND GET OUT. ReplyDeleteThe harvest hoedown quest does allow the speaker tree to be out into an orchard to be harvested, the time is set at 2 days just 4 that tree, sometimes you can put an animal or tree into a zoo, orchard, habitat, etc. when that "building" is already at 50% grown or higher and the new item just put in will get harvested, other times it doesn't work like that. You have to be smart with this game, think of ways around the time issues and have friends/neighbors that play regularly and are willing to help out every-time. As for the "bug" issues, Zynga is way 2 slow on fixing them because it seems all they care about is putting out new quests and designing another new farm, which in hindsight is good due to the "freshness" of the game and to keep it not boring like usual but in reality it just keeps screwing the game up and when you complain, all you get is a response like, we are working on the issues and hope to have them fixed soon. I have been waiting 24 days now for them to fix my "session expired - timed out" issue when I move from farm to farm. Don't know how long it takes to fix problems but in that same amount of time the harvest hoedown building has come out with 6 new quests as well as the 12 stage fairy quest!!!...
ReplyDeleteI want to know why it is taking so long for trees and animals to reach 100% before you can harvest them. They need to be quicker so that we can reach the ends of the quests faster.

ReplyDeletefarmville has gotten where it is not free anymore to finish some of the quests you have to pay or beg for someone to help you.also the quests pop up to fast give us time to plant an harvest all produces, an put them ( all produce) all the seeds on the same farms, dont put home seeds on an then put seeds for english,then seeds for the lighthouse,keep all seeds so if you got space to plant you can plant on that land, and bring the prices down if you gonna charge -prices are ridiculous,or give free cash sometimes more than 2 or 3 at a time or give more coins per dollar

ReplyDeletePlease you have to reset the timers on the quest. There is no way to harvest 300 units of wheat in ten hours when it takes twelve hours to grow. Don't get me wrong. I love the quest. It is that you need to give more time to complete them.

hello! it's a pity that many people has to stop,including myself,because we have an old computer,no money to buy a new one,and we cannot update the browser and also,very important,the flashplayer...NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT MONEY!! the browsers SUCK!!I really miss my farm,can't play any other game either...Please do something about THAT!!!!
