The Holiday Tree has arrived to FarmVille!

The Holiday Season is here and it’s time to ask your Friends for Holiday Gifts to place under your tree. Open each Gift on Dec 24th to find out what’s inside. Don’t delay, start the fun today as these Gifts will go away on Jan 7th!

Note: If you are unable to locate The Holiday Tree, check for it in your Giftbox or purchase in the Market for one Coin.

Placing The Holiday Tree:

A Green illumination around The Holiday Tree will glow over open placement areas on your farm.

Note: You can have 1 The Holiday Tree on each Farm (Home, English Countryside, Lighthouse Cove, and Winter Wonderland).

Once placed on your Farm, you will have the following six options:

There are three ways of obtaining Gifts:

  17. I have to agree with those who say it's a CHRISTMAS tree. Zynga FV has SO many chances to make it right. Why do they always seem to get it wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  18. it has to be called a holiday tree because not everyone that plays Farmville believes in Christmas. I have a Christmas tree, but someone else may have a holiday tree.

  19. I bet last years tree is causing the problems cuz I have been getting and receiving gifts from that tree too

  20. I agree it is a Christmas tree too but also agree that it is a Holiday tree!! Remember you are not the only ones playing Farmville, I have friends and neighbors all over the world who do not celebrate our Christmas as we do, so let's just be nice to everyone!! Tis the Season to be Merry and Thankful for what we have!!

  28. To Zipperless.....you are wrong. It is a Christmas tree. Those who do not celebrate our Christmas as we do are respected in the ways that they celebrate whatever they believe in. Christians believe in Christ Christmas celebrates His birth. No other group of people use the distinct decorations, Santa Claus, Yule Logs, Egg Nog, Christmas Trees and so forth on their holidays. Hannaukah uses distinct decorations, as does Quanza and they proudly call their holiday by the right name. Go to Wikipedia and look up "Christmas". You might get a real education. It seems that it is politically correct not to make anyone feel uneasy, but if you happen to be Christian in the United States, you are very offended by this political correctness, as it never applies to believers in Christ. It offends me very greatly, as a Christian who celebrates my holiday, CHRISTMAS. So think about that when you say to "be nice" to everybody.

My name is Pat Turkington and I am not Anonymous.

  29. pls help i cant travel from one farm to another..:(

  30. Yes Pat Turkington!! I agree 100% with your comments above. May you have a blessed CHRISTmas. And Jesus is the Reason for the Season, afterall. We're in the "end times," so we won't have to fret about this much longer. Nancy Smith

  31. To Pat Turkington and Nancy Smith - I pray you CHRISTmas is a very blessed one for you and your families!! Jesus IS the Reason for the Season. I agree, it's okay for people to say "Holiday" instead for "Christmas" so as not to offend non Christians... But what about offending Christians by NOT calling it Christmas??? It's our holiday, celebrating our Savior's birth, so it will ALWAYS be CHRISTmas to me!!
Merry CHRSTmas to all reading this too. And I am not anonymous either, I am Tracy Wykes!! A proud Christian and Australian!!

  32. It's a TREE that you put up during the HOLIDAYS. I celebrate Christmas, but to those of you bickering over what the dang thing is called, I say to you "get over it". *steps down off soapbox*

    ReplyDelete
  36. ITS A CHRISTMAS TREE WHEN YOU CELEBRATE AA HOLIDAY ITS FOR SOMETHING WE ARE CELEBRATING THE GREASTEST MAN WHO LIVEDD HIS NAAME IS JESUS WE NEVER SAY ANYTHING YOU CELEBATE SO LET US HAVE CHRISTMAS======

    ReplyDelete
  37. it is not a holiday tree it is called a christmas tree i don't know why they want to take away christ in christmas

    ReplyDelete
  38. The "Christmas Tree " is a pagan tradition. The reason for the season was to replace a pagan celebration called Yule with a Christian festival.

    ReplyDelete
  39. have any of you noticed that this forum does not change the zynga policies? i appreciate that most of you are proclaiming your belief in Jesus Christ thank you very much for standing up for Christians around the world. Jesus is the reason for this season. He is the Christ the Son of the Living God. God Bless and Merry Christmas

    ReplyDelete
  40. I believe they call it a "HOLIDAY TREE" due to many different religions and beliefs that celebrate the holiday season and don't want to offend anyone with the word "CHRISTMAS". I worded at Disneyland for many years and was NOT allowed to say "Merry Christmas" as a solude, only "Happy Holidays". Its out of respect. So everyone complaining over a online virtual tree.....I say GET OVER IT! Geeze play the game or don't! I'm sick or people complaining about a virtual game that is FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE to play! If you don't like it anymore, than don't play it anymore. You must be addicted if you can't stop playing! You want some cheese with that wine!? Happy HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Being a Christian and not wanting to offend anyone, may I just remind all Christians that Christ did not ask us to set aside a special day for his (birth) although very important we all know! But it was his death that he asked us to remember, and not once a year as some do for Easter but everyday or at least once a week! Maybe he knew it would get forgotten somehow in all the hustle and bustle of life and man made holidays.

  42. Why are we so worried about offending people who don't celebrate Christmas, but don't seem to worry about offending those that do?? It's Christmas, plain and simple. If you don't celebrate, as many of my friends don't, I still invite everyone to enjoy this season that is so dear to me. I go to Kwanza celebrations, as a guest and I am flattered and honoured to be included. I don't expect anyone to change such things for me, why do you ask me to change for you?? Merry Christmas everyone :)
