Paid Players & Live Chat Support!


Hey guys,

Thought I'd chime in since live chat support has been a hot topic for the last couple days. In order to get live chat, you do need to be a paid player. You don't need to spend a $100 per month to get live chat though--that is just a rumor. You are entitled to live chat support if you are paid player, but please keep in mind that this CS feature may not be available due to high volume.

More info added:
* There will always be email support. The news about email support going away is just a rumor.
* Email support is available for unpaid users.
* Email and live chat support is available for paid players.

what a joke,so if we don't pay u to play a free game we don't get help from live support. how many players do u want to stop playing your games, they do not work 75% of the time anyway

I have used email support, it usually takes about 24 hours, if the answer didnt work I used email support again including number(s) of previous help requests. I have always received an answer. The more details I include the easier it is for them to help me.
I also keep in mind its a game & its free entertainment. When I get too frustrated, I quit playing.

RE:: Larry...I have to disagree with you on that ne....every time I've emailed Zynga support, yes, the first reply is just a form letter, but it assigns you an incident number and a support rep does reply personally within 48 hours of your incident number assignment....I've written to tem every time I have problems in FV game and have patiently tried every thing I can think of short of going into the game via IT to right the problem and they've always compensated me for my frustrations (when you email, you have to remember to back it up with screenshot(s) so they can physically see tje problem as you see it) They've even given me FV cash...last time they gave me 4 unwithers...I feel bad bugging them so much, but the rep came back with,"its ok...we want to know about the bugs and glitches players encounter to try to resolve the problem and make game laying more smooth and pleasant." They've always given me some solution to try and told me if it didn't work, to get back to them so I can try something else.Zynga support rocks!!!

When are you gonna fix FV, PT,and all the problems with the home pages.Can't post or collect anything, get nothing but blank page, can't access games either. Enough w/all the fancy new crap! The system is broken fix it before you try to introduce new things!!!

Wish FV would exercise some transparency to their loyal farmers. These rumors , false promises et al are causing alot of needless grief & frustration!!! Personally I am focused on what FV is & is NOT doing, fixing, promoting...and wondering how long they intend to keep us at bay on our old glitches that many of us have been waiting over 6 months on !
I've got 1 foot in and another out....

I spend money on farm cash every month and I have never seen that chat screen shot shown. There have been many times that I have emailed support and have been happy with the EVENTUAL resolution. But there are times, like if you want to buy one of the limited time sale items and it doesn't work, then you are just screwed. Most of the time it will not work for me and the email reply I got was to try another computer and or browser. DUH, I had already tried that and everything possible. For those sales, almost every time I get a screen shot of a red Zynga dog with the message "Oops, something went wrong, please try again later..." When that happens you need to be able to get immediate support, like through the chat!

I have also bought alot of FC from Zynga and alot of farm cards at walmart aslo for my daughter and I and now half the time I cant even get on my farm to play,yet they do get ahold of me and sometimes it helps but these last few weeks its been really bad i can only get on maybe once every three to four days and my daughters farm is the same way,good luck everyone

complain complain complain,,,,,,,,,,,geez its only a game and its FREE, The more they do the more most of you Bi**H!!! IF most of you used your commen sence you wouldnt be dealing with 98% of your so called issues. And that LIVE chat above that one is fairly new, they HAVE had a support chat all along, its usually found at the very bottom of any page that has to do with Farmville, also just like another player said if you give support MORE clearer information about what your problem is then they can an they will resolve it and always within 48hrs but usually sooner than 24hrs IF you gave them exact an clear information about your issues and for that person that said they tried buying something then didnt receive it, again use the email support BUT I would advise using the live chat for something like that and they will take care of you, and further more with all the "COMPLANINING" most of you are doing on this page the only good its doing is maybe making you look like greedy people that arent happy with the more they get, after all Farmville is a FREE game. Now if you actually had to pay in order to play it then I could MAYBE understand all the complaining but this is just crazy. IF your NOT happy with Zynga's support do like ALOT of the older players did long ago an do some research on what an how to proceed with a certian situations and issues, first of all try helping YOUR SELF first, the more information you gather an know about your computer and about the game its self as well as exactly what the Issue IS the more faster Zynga can help you (an fyi most computers show a error code in the lower left hand corner of the bottom of the screen this to will help tell them exactly what other issues your having) an just an FYI for the majority 96% of the so-called problems are your own computers or self related so this is why good research is very helpful not only for them but for your selves as well. Like I'd bet my bottom dollar that most of the complainers do not even know what their ID# is on here, this is needed also for most games in order for them to help you better as well as what windows & browser your running, any browser under internet 8 wont work 99% of the time its very out dated also any windows under Vista will most likely give you alot of problems, so the point is any OLD computer or OLD browsers WILL give you constant problems and the only theing you can do to fix such a problem is to update your pc as well as your browser if you dont theres not much Zynga can do to help you then. IF you really want a good handle on how your games work on facebook then I would sudjest switching to Google Chrome, also its a MUST that you make sure that your Flash player is updated often. Also you MUST clear your flash players chache often it only holds so much in there then it'll act as if somethings wrong with the game when its not even the game thats causing the problem its the player not knowing how to take care of the basic needs of your own computer in order to play any games. Like I said before do research it will only benfit you in the end, thats how most of the older players learned, and thats also why most of us older players rarely have a legit problem. Happy playing
