Well, I got the paddock and no quest. That makes sense.
same here 5 of my family members got the paddock to start of with this morning but none of us have got the quest so wtf zynga get another f*** up!!!!

i had to buy my paddock after i got the mission
It seems lately all the quests are coming a day later than the main item that begins the quest
