Thank you! I have wasted so much time trying to get foals to grow into their breed....why did they do that where a foal grows up to be a totally different breed? I still have all these foals I've collected and then they start breeding other animals! They got the cart in front of the horse .....literally! LOL! I hope they fix all of them to be able to grow up and "be themselves"! And trees too....a rainbow apple grows into a Granny Smith...what's the use of purchasing or collecting if they're all going to turn into the same thing eventually...takes the fun out of breeding them...no incentive there. Anyway,,,that's just my opinion.

I believe what you really need to do is once the horse is no longer available in the market and especially if it is an older one and you get a foal from it once it is put in the nursery allow it to grow into the horse that is should be so that way once bred someone who does not have that horse or foal can enjoy one to have such the cutest little foals or calves that you have us pay FV cash for and have it turn into something that is common is just so not right to the ppl who spend this cash won't hurt for us to let all of our calves and foals grow into what they are why do you call it a nursery if they don't? Think about it!!!

Must be just the calves/foals listed above because my foals in the nursery when I put the cursor over them still say they will turn into the black horse, cream horse etc.

i think zynga will find a big drop in the number of farmers buying the cow and horses, why waste you cash buying the horse or cow just wait and get the calf or foal, i know i wont be buying anymore horses or cows i will just sit back and wait to get them free,

You have wasted time TRYING to get them to grow up into their breed..LOL..what a ding dong..Well you would NEVER Have gotten them too because they just didn't give FV cash horses away for free, so ..if it wasn't in their coding..it would never have happened. DUH..Why would anyone buy a horse if they were for free?

Sue I'm guessing it's just for those horses and cows listed above. Total bs that they can't just let the babies grow up to what they are suppose to but then that would cut into their profits.
It will cause such outrage amongst us people who pay money for these animals it wont be long before its removed. if not they owe me a HUGE refund

I don't think it is such a big deal that they let the foals grow into the adults. I mean you can get special trees by harvesting them correctly in the orchards. I've paid for a special tree, but I wouldn't be upset if someone got one for free. :)
I would just be happy that my foals could grow up ! I'd spend much more time on fv if they unlocked all of the adults, and what the baby was it would grow into the adult!
i think foals should grow up to be what they are when u put them in nursery instead of just the brown, grey, an black horses. This will b awesome if they stay as adults what they are as foals....

No it would not be fair to the ones that paid fv cash to breed them. If Zynga lets the foals grow into adults, then the ones that has not paid the fv cash for them, but got them through the nursery should become non-breeing horses!!! If someone can breed after growing a foal they picked up from feed page, then Zynga get ready I will want a refund for all the money I paid you!!!

The only reason I collect the foals lately is to master them, so my nurseries are rather empty. I sell off all the ones that do grow from there and find it so sad. If they let them grow to be the adult it would make so much difference to me anyway, and I would collect a whole lot more and feel more excited about this part of the game. As for buying the adults - those that have done so will continue but many like myself simply cannot afford to buy these animals.
Just look in the store and see how many things do require real money.
The issue is not cutting into their profit, the issue is all the people who pay fc for the horse only to have everyone else be able to get the same horse for free from a foal...no one would buy horses any more cuz it would not be fair to those who paid for the horses. If it were you paying 26fc for a horse, taking the time to breed it and sharing it to your friends and they would get the same horse you just had to pay 26fc for, how would you like it??? Zynga would never sell another horse because the breeders you are getting those pretty little foals from would not spend their fc to get the mama. Then no one would have horses.

So now you want them to grow up . do you have a list of what ones will do that??? I would love to put a few of them in there,but then that means where do you put them do we get more stables so we can breed them or are we going to get another pen or how about trading that would be fun. Horse trading could catch on think about it >>>>> any ways don't go starting so many things on us cause now we'll have three farms to try and take care of and it would be nice too be able to use some of our animals on this new farm to free up our other farms- remember waste not want not
It hasnt happened yet I just had a king foal turn into a black horse. Very disappointed. I hate wasting my foals for a black horse. what is the point.
TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SAYING NO TO THIS YOU NEED TO STOP BEING SO SELFISH AND LET THE ONES WHO CANNOT AFFORD TO GET FC BECAUSE OF A FIXED INCOME ENJOY THE HORSES. THIS IS NOT GOING TO BREAK ANYBODY IF THEY DO IT FOR A FEW WKS. SHARING IS THE KEY. SEE HOW YOU FEEL WHEN YOU DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR ONCE AND STOP BEING SO SELFISH. I WILL STILL BUY THE NEW HORSES THAT COME OUT. HOW ELSE WOULD WE GET ANY NEW FOALS. SAME OLD FOALS ARE BORING. I CANNOT BELIEVE PEOPLE CAN BE SO SELFISH. I think this is a very good idea.
I for one DO buy the special horses and HATE that if I have bought a horse I don't get to have it's offspring grow up. I also don't mind that my neighbors would get one too. Its not like the nursery can b bred like the stables. and they only produce a horse once every couple harvests. its not like players would be getting 40 new horses all at once through the nursery barn.
I just want to know why the calves can't be placed in the nursery anymore. I haven't been able to do it for months.

This will make people angry, but it's true ... for those of us who work and pay for our horses, it's not fair for other's to get them free. These horses and cows pictured, will likely be free, or given as quest prizes. It's only fair.
I actually did this with the harvest pony and the quarter horse and got the horses from them. So i know that those two works. Just need to see if the other ones do.
To everyone out there that is mad about this issues. The person putting the certain type of foals into the barn will only send out that foal but you will get the horse for your own farm. I did it with the quarter horse and the harvest pony. I got to keep the horses but send out the foals. So its a win for everyone. At least that is where I see if. who knows it might be a beginning of another breeding pen for us.

if you put a baby animal in your barn and then look in your barn but the mouse over the animal and it will tell you what that baby will grow into
if it will grow into a common black horse then take it out and put another one untill you find one that you want!!!!! enjoy
If Zynga allowed every foal to grow up to be the exact same horse, then they would not sell as many horses. i for one... would wait to catch a baby off the feed and grow it up... so i don't think zynga will be doing this with all horses. they have done a couple like that (the mini party foal for one) and then these above.
also with all the breeding pens, we r getting a lot of farmcash animals for free. several that i paid for, i'm now getting free, so i think zynga is doing quite abit for those players that don't spend money on the game. that's just my opinion. :)

The most logic thing that Farmville should do it only have common versions of foals and calves that grow up into what they should be. Do away with babies of the farmcash animals then everyone would stop complaining that their baby isn't what it naturally should be.
They also need to think of people that are struggling in this economy. They need to start having value packs...that said, they need to start selling 3-packs of animals and trees that will at least save you a buck or two when you buy them as a set.

it was my idea.....a girlfriend and me started a cause and had a very good turn out.it dident take them too long after that.now if we can get them to let us buy them with coins instead of cash......that would be great...
The mini party foals grow up into mini party horses too.
For those of you who do not know it you can check the foals to see what they will grow into in the nursery. Place one in and click to view inside the Nursery. Wave the mouse over each pony and a tab will pop up telling you want it grows into.
The reason Zynga doesn't let them grow up is because they are Money mongrels so for those of us who can't afford to blow a hundred bucks a month for farm cash be GLAD you can't it is very addictive and one of my friends is stealing her food money to get animals. Yes it is as bad a gambling for some. Farmville is down 90% on people who pay for farm cash and I would love to see them hit rock bottom out of their greed!! I help for causes with cash and that is it. Sometimes it means I am not getting my3- 6 packs of soda but other than that I would wait for the 40% off and use 10 bucks.
you dont have to buy farmcash, just buy what you can, they aren't forcing you to buy them, if you can't buy those good items then don't .,that's the answer!
WARNING: The Above List is NOT CorrecT! I just lost some Foals testing it out. Bay Andalusian grows up to a standard Black Horse from the Nursery (but for FC may grow up correctly). However I have proven that the Nightmare Calf, Batwing Foal, and Quarter Foals all grow up to the correct Horse and Cow from the Nursery! I'll share more details when I've found success or failure proven on others soon.
